Who this is for
Self-ish is made for adults. The app asks you to confirm you're 18 or older before you begin.
What we collect, and why
Everything below is kept only to make the app work. None of it is used for tracking, advertising, or marketing by anyone.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, browsing or search activity, advertising data, health records, or any financial details beyond the subscription status Apple shares with us.
Where it's stored
The originals live on your phone first. Cloud backups are kept in private storage on Supabase (servers in Sydney, Australia). Each account can only reach its own files.
How long we keep it
- Free accounts: video clips are removed from the cloud after 30 days (the originals stay on your phone). Your mood selfies, notes, night summaries and Owl and Lion records stay backed up until you delete your account.
- Self-ish Plus: backups are kept while you're subscribed. If Plus ends, you get a 15-day grace window to download. Owl puzzle videos that were backed up under Plus are removed 46 days after Plus ends.
Deleting everything
In the app, go to You → Delete my account. This deletes your account, every cloud file, and every record, immediately. Nothing is recoverable afterwards, and it revokes Sign in with Apple. Apple subscriptions are cancelled separately in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Payments
All payments are handled by Apple. The app never sees your card details.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, we receive an error report through Sentry. It carries an account id and error codes only, never your reflections, file names, or messages.
What we never do
No selling. No sharing. No ads. No tracking across other apps or websites. Your reflections are never public and never shown to anyone else.
